Kensie Cares | Recipients Logan Sargent and A Better Way, Muncie

We’re proud to announce Logan Sargent as our Kensie Cares honoree for Q1 of 2019! Logan’s widely renowned all-star status across the entire Encompass community and his incredible knowledge base, expertise, ingenuity, and solving the unsolvable for our clients is matched by his incredible generosity, teamsmanship, and perpetually positive attitude. Always willing to go the extra 10 miles, Logan’s contributions to his clients and our KensieMae family alike have been a standout since day one. We’re pretty sure that “no” just isn’t in his vocabulary, as there doesn’t seem to be a solution he can’t build, guidance he can’t provide, or time he won’t make available to help out wherever or whenever needed.

For his charity, Logan has chosen A Better Way, a non-profit agency in Muncie, IN whose mission is to reduce domestic abuse, sexual assault, and suicide in the community through shelter services, crisis intervention, and prevention initiatives. A Better Way provides shelter and services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, a walk-in Rape Crisis Center, advocacy, individual trauma-informed counseling, support groups, transitional housing, a 24-hour crisis line for persons in any type of crisis, education + referrals, a suicide hotline, bullying, teen dating violence and domestic violence prevention programs, and a check-in call service for elderly or disabled home-bound persons. With October being National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we are especially honored to offer our support to this wonderful far-reaching charitable organization so they can continue to serve those in need during what is often the most difficult and trying of circumstances anyone has to go through.
