KensieMae’s Wellness & Recharge Week: July 4th - July 8th
/As most know, these past few years have been difficult, to say the least, and subsequently brought the importance of mental health, self-care, and quality time with family and friends to the top of our minds. Navigating through a global pandemic amid contentious political climates and threats to our democracy is no small feat. Now add to that an industry that saw record growth and volume suddenly facing a tightening of belts, and we’re sure you’ll understand our concern for our team’s well-being and the potential for burnout.
To prioritize a healthy work culture and reciprocate for the time and effort our staff consistently puts in for clients and colleagues alike, KensieMae has decided to implement an annual "week of rest," a concept that has gained some traction with many organizations in recent years. During the week of July 4th, KensieMae, KensieMae Technologies, and A&S Elite offices are closed for our annual Wellness and Recharge Week. This mid-year break allows our team some well-deserved time off to rest, recharge, and return re-energized!
As KensieMae clients and partners can attest, our folks are incredibly devoted to their craft. Their collective experience in the industry keeps them fully in tune with the needs and challenges our customers face daily, so they’re certainly not averse to burning the occasional midnight oil for a client in need. This is why it can be difficult for some to balance such a strong work ethic with their own self-care, even when given the opportunity and means to do so. That's why we decided on a companywide OOO to ensure our team could unplug without guilt, with the covering skeleton crew also being provided the appropriate float days respectively.
